Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen Menu Kiosk App
A responsive tablet menu kiosk with Google Sheets updates and performance tuned for restaurant service.
At Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen I built a menu kiosk as a responsive web app for tablets in the dining rooms, separate from the marketing site but on the same stack (SASS, jQuery, Grunt, and Heroku).
Menus across four concepts change often, so the kiosk read from Google Spreadsheets and kitchen staff could update items without a deploy. I was the only developer on the kiosk and tuned the UI for tablet hardware in a busy restaurant.
