Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen
A responsive site for Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen, a historic mansion with four dining concepts.
Jockey Hollow Bar and Kitchen is Chris Cannon's multi-concept restaurant in Morristown's historic Vail Mansion, the 1916 AT&T president's estate that later served as town hall. The public site had to present four rooms at once: the Oyster and Wine Bar, the Vail Bar cocktail lounge, the Rathskeller event space, and the second-floor Dining Room.
I built the responsive landing page with SASS, jQuery, Grunt, and Grapnel.js, deployed on Heroku, and tuned page weight so it held up on the connections diners actually had while the restaurant moved from a late-spring opening toward full lunch and dinner service.
