Fantasy Top Shots
A Flow Hackathon web game using NBA Top Shot NFTs through a Next.js interface on Flow.
Fantasy Top Shots was our entry for the February 2023 Flow Hackathon, a web game where players used their NBA Top Shot NFT collections in a fantasy sports format. The repo builds on the same flow-marketplace-next base we used with collaborators at bitcashorg.
I worked on design and development in Next.js with Flow Client Library for wallet and NFT transactions during play, and Top Shot collections acted as the roster instead of a separate inventory screen.
Achievements
- Designed and developed the hackathon game on Flow with Next.js and @onflow/fcl.
- Wired NBA Top Shot NFTs into the game so collections could be used as a roster.
- Implemented the responsive UI and gameplay mechanics in the Next.js web app.
