CryptoCantinaCR
A weekly Costa Rican meetup for open discussion about blockchain, cryptography, and cryptocurrency.
CryptoCantinaCR started as a Thursday after-office meetup I announced in September 2018 for Central Pub in Paseo Colón, under the BlockchainCR community. It brought together people working on blockchain, cryptography, and cryptocurrency in Costa Rica to talk without a stage.
I kept the format informal on purpose, with no presentations or talks, because the point was conversation rather than filling a speaker calendar.
The meetup later continued under AsoBlockchain's education work and became CriptoCantina.org, where Karla Córdoba built the structured program on top of those early gatherings.
